SELPHYL™ is used by dermatologists and plastic surgeons to harness the patient’s own biology and platelets to naturally fill skin depressions, acne scars, wrinkles / folds, rather than using synthetic, plastic, or animal-derived materials. This natural procedure is performed by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon in their office in less than twenty (20) minutes and typically yields 4 cc of product – enough for facial contouring.

Description of Procedure
SELPHYL™ yields a natural biologically-active PRFM, loaded with blood platelets that can be applied in a simple, safe, quick, and minimally invasive outpatient procedure. Application typically takes place our physician’s office. We can use a variety of pain management techniques during treatment to ensure your comfort throughout the process.
Healing and Downtime
Patients leave our office immediately after the procedure. Most persons see very little swelling or bruising and can return to work and their life responsibilities immediately.

Insurance Coverage
Selphyl™ is considered cosmetic and, therefore, is not covered by insurance. The patient is responsible for payment.
