Matrix™ IR Fractional Laser®
Laser and radiofrequency has the ability to heat the deeper layers of the skin. This activates fibroblasts, in turn, causing your body to produce collagen. This can result in the in reduction of the wrinkles, folds, lines & scars.

Procedure Candidates
The Matrix IR™is for those looking to improve wrinkles or scars without injections.Those who are pregnant or have been on Accutane within the past 3 months should not use this procedure. Also, patients with pacemakers, internal defibrillators, or metal implants should not have these treatments. If you suffer from diabetes, autoimmune disease, history of cold sores, or have had injectable fillers in the areas to be treated, please inform of this prior to treament.

Procedure Description
Treatment with the Matrix IR™ usually consists of a series of up to 5 treatments. Each candidate will respond differently resulting in the need for more or fewer treatments. Most patients are able to return to work the following day. Mild redness or swelling may occur in some patients.

Expected Results
A firmer, less wrinkled, more youthful appearance should occur immediately as well as over time. Maintenance treatments will be needed over time to maintain the result achieved.

Downtime & Healing
Most patients experience mild redness and swelling for a few hours after the treatment. Results will develop over time and with subsequent treatments.

Addtional Information
There may be some minor discomfort during the treatment, however, there is no lasting discomfort. Although very uncommon, there is a small risk of a skin wound developing that can result in a permanent scar or depression. Further treatments may be necessary to improve these should they occur.
