Is ematrix is a good treatment for acne scars?

Recently a 35 year old asked if ematrix is a good treatment for acne scars and is it better than palomar starlux 1540. They also asked the cost and how many sessions are needed.

There no single procedure to improve acne scars but it usually involves multiple procedures, and technologies, it is done over a period of 15 to 16 weeks… These procedures may include (but not limited) dermabrasion, Microdermabrasion, photofacial, fractional lasers (Matrix IR), skin resurfacing (Laser or Radiofrequency), and fillers.  It is fair to say both eMatrix, and Palomar lux 1540 is good, but not enough to improve scar.

As far as the packages, usually I do 3 sessions of eMatrix, 5 sessions Photofacial, and may be 3 sessions of Matrix IR (Fractional Laser). I have to make sure the patient does not break out so he does not keep scaring. We achieved that though medicine, and Microdermabrasion.

As far as cost, it depends on what is the plan of management. If we are going to do eMatrix we charge $2500 for 3 sessions. ($1000 per session).

I suggest calling for us at 630-706-4444 for a complementary appointment, so the doctor will take a close look, and give an accurate idea about the treatment plan.

Thanks again for your interest in our services.
