Although laser hair removal has advanced in technology significantly over the years, there are still some challenges for person’s with very light or grey hair. There can be a noticeable reduction in your hair growth or change the cycle of your hair growth, however there are usually not permanent results achieved for person’s with lighter or grey hair.

Sunday, July 19th, 2009Somebody emailed me asking about Laser-Assisted Lipolysis. It is minimally invasive technique designed to destroy fat cells and coagulate tissue on the body and the face, cost effectively. It is ideal for areas that are difficult to treat with traditional liposuction, such as under the chin and upper.
LipoSculpture features a tiny tube, called a “cannula,” which is inserted through a tiny incision into your skin. A precise, powerful laser beam is directed via an optical fiber through a cannula, and liquefies deposits of fat cells within the treatment area. Liquefied fat is then removed from your body using the same small incision.
The procedure is minimally-invasive, and considerably less traumatic to the body than traditional liposuction, so only local anesthesia (around the area treated) is required for treatments.
Local anesthesia helps make the procedure comfortable. After treatment, and when the anesthesia begins to wear off, patients may experience minimal bruising, plus minor aches and pains that naturally dissipate over time. The patient typically returns to work one to two days after treatment.
